Zwei Schraubenrotoren fördern Gase und Dämpfe, ohne dass Öl oder eine andere Betriebsflüssigkeit mit dem Medium in Berührung kommt. Das Schraubenprofil und der ungehinderte Gasaustritt machen die Pumpen unempfindlich gegenüber mitgeführter Flüssigkeit und Partikeln, die gleichmäßige Temperaturführung begrenzt thermische Belastung und Korrosion.
