DVS series from Atlas Copco
The DVS series from Atlas Copco comprises ten dry-running rotary vane vacuum pumps. The pumping speed ranges from 5 to 130 m³/h. The lowest ultimate pressure within the series is 120 mbar, which means the pumps operate in rough vacuum.
The vanes of these pumps are made of graphite and run in the cylinder without oil lubrication. During operation, a thin graphite layer forms on the running surface, which keeps friction and wear low. The exhaust air is filtered and passed through a cooler; the pumps are used wherever oil-free vacuum is required, for example in packaging, printing or handling technology.
