Atlas Copco offers a single model in the DZQ series, the DZQ 80 claw vacuum pump. Its pumping speed is 80 m³/h, the ultimate pressure 0.03 mbar. No further sizes are planned in this series.
Inside a claw pump, two rotors run synchronously and without touching each other, so the compression chamber remains free of lubricants. The specified ultimate pressure is considerably lower than that of conventional claw pumps for rough vacuum. The DZQ 80 is therefore an option for processes that require a dry vacuum at low pressures, for example in laboratories, analytics or coating.
