With the BCP series, Becker offers claw compressors for the oil-free generation of compressed air. The series consists of three models, BCP 100 PD, BCP 150 PD and BCP 300 PD, whose volume flow ranges from 100 to 275 m³/h.
Inside, two claw-shaped rotors rotate in opposite directions and without contact, so the compression chamber requires no lubricant. Because neither the rotors rub against each other nor the rotor against the housing, hardly any wear occurs in the pumping chamber. Such compressors are used, for example, in pneumatic conveying, in printing presses or for aeration.
