R5 series from Busch

The R5 series from Busch, a series of oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps with 58 models, ranges from 3 to 1,800 m³/h pumping speed. The lowest ultimate pressure is 0.1 mbar. It includes small built-in pumps as well as large industrial units.

An internal oil circuit supplies the pump with lubricating and sealing oil and contributes to a constant vacuum. The compact pumps are suitable for intermittent as well as continuous operation; with the optional gas ballast valve, vapours can also be conveyed without condensing in the pump. They are widely used, for example, in vacuum packaging and in many other industrial processes.
