EDO series from Edwards
The EDO series from Edwards includes two scroll vacuum pumps, the EDO65 and the EDO100. Their pumping speed is 65 m³/h and 100 m³/h; the ultimate pressure is specified as 1.5 mbar for both models. They are driven by motors with a rated power of 1.5 kW and 2.2 kW.
Scroll pumps convey the gas between two intermeshing scrolls, one of which is fixed while the other performs an orbiting movement. The enclosed volume moves inwards and becomes steadily smaller. With their working range in the rough vacuum, the two models are suitable for tasks such as holding, lifting, degassing or packaging.
