EOSi series from Edwards
The EOSi series from Edwards counts ten screw vacuum pumps. The smallest, the EOS350i, has a pumping speed of 400 m³/h; the largest, the EOS5400i, achieves 5,004 m³/h. The lowest ultimate pressure in the series is 0.3 mbar; the rated motor powers lie between 5.5 and 90 kW.
The pumps work with oil injection: the oil seals the gaps between the screw rotors, lubricates and cools, and is then separated from the exhaust air flow. Oil-injected screw pumps are used predominantly in industrial rough vacuum, for example in central vacuum systems, in packaging, in handling and in glass, plastics and wood processing.
