LR1C series from Edwards
Nine liquid ring vacuum pumps from Edwards belong to the LR1C series. Their pumping speed ranges from 27 m³/h for the LR1C030 to 500.4 m³/h for the LR1C500; the ultimate pressure is 33 mbar for all models. Depending on size, the rated motor power is 0.81 to 15 kW.
The series covers the small and medium capacity range. As only the impeller and the operating liquid work in the compression chamber, there are no parts in contact with each other there, and entrained liquid or vapour is tolerated. Such pumps are used, for example, for degassing, filtering, distilling and drying as well as in food and plastics processing.
