Leybonol LVO 870 is a special vacuum grease based on petroleum jelly with natural rubber as a thickener. It is specifically developed for lubricating stirrer shafts, particularly KPG stirrers, in vacuum applications. The grease is characterized by high chemical resistance and can be used at temperatures up to 30 °C (86 °F) and pressures down to 10⁻² mbar. It provides excellent lubrication under vacuum conditions and helps extend the service life of vacuum components. It is compatible with FKM elastomers (e.g. Viton), but not with EPDM elastomers.
