Leybonol LVO 871 is a special vacuum grease based on petroleum jelly with natural rubber as a thickener. It is specifically developed for lubricating ground joints (Ramsay joints) in vacuum systems. The grease is characterized by high chemical resistance and is suitable for use at temperatures up to 30 °C and pressures down to 10⁻² mbar. It provides reliable sealing and lubrication under vacuum conditions, extends the service life of the joints, and is compatible with FKM elastomers, but not with EPDM.
