Oil Edwards 45 1L – H11022015 Details

Edwards 45 is a special synthetic oil from the Edwards speciality range. Its molecular structure provides chemical inertness, high temperature stability and a low vapour pressure of about 1.33 × 10⁻⁶ mbar at 25 °C. Edwards specifies the oil for its EH series Roots pumps (EH boosters).

The viscosity is 56 mm²/s at 40 °C. With a pour point of about -59 °C the oil stays fluid even at low temperatures; the flash point is about 264 °C.

You will find the change interval and filling quantity in the operating manual of your pump. When changing from a different type of oil, the pump should be flushed first.
