Two oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps belong to the SmartVane series from Pfeiffer Vacuum. The two models have a pumping speed of 50 and 70 m³/h and each reach an ultimate pressure of 0.2 mbar.
As in every oil-lubricated rotary vane pump, the oil seals and lubricates the pumping chamber, in which the vanes enclose and compress the gas. With their ultimate pressure in the rough vacuum range, the pumps suit tasks such as evacuating, degassing and drying as well as use as a backing pump in larger vacuum systems.
