Side channel blowers

Seitenkanal-Gebläse

At its core, a side channel blower consists of an impeller with many blades that rotates without contact in a ring-shaped channel. The blades accelerate the air outwards; in the side channel it is deflected and picked up again by the impeller. This process is repeated many times on the way from the inlet to the outlet and builds up pressure step by step.

The blowers work oil-free, are almost maintenance-free and can be used as a vacuum pump just as well as a compressor. They move large quantities of air at moderate vacuum or overpressure: for extracting dust and chips, for pneumatic conveying, for aerating tanks and baths, for drying and for vacuum tables. As a rule, only the filters are replaced.

The shop lists 13 series of this type from Atlas Copco, Becker, Busch and Elmo Rietschle. The tiles below lead to the individual series with their models and key data; matching spare parts and consumables can be requested directly.
